Reference to Video AI
Create a new video from reference images, clips, or audio. Give the model your visual direction and describe the action you want to see.
How to turn references into a video
1.Choose your references
Add images that show the character, product, or setting. Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 can also use a clip for motion or audio for rhythm.
2.Write the direction
Say which elements should carry over and describe the movement, framing, and camera angle you want in the new shot.
3.Generate and review
Choose the duration and format. Compare the result with your references and refine the prompt for a second take.
Reference to video questions
Which model should I choose?
Happy Horse 1.0 and 1.1 accept one to nine reference images. Seedance 2.0 and 2.5 also accept video and audio references. For Seedance 2.0, include at least one image or video. Add a prompt to direct your shot.
How is reference to video different from image to video?
Reference to video uses uploaded media as guidance for a newly composed shot. Image to video starts with a particular image and animates that composition. Video to video takes an existing clip as the footage to restyle.
How many references can Seedance 2.5 use?
You can add up to 30 images, 10 video clips, and 10 audio files. The total duration limit is 30 seconds for each of the video and audio groups.
How much does a generation cost?
The studio shows the credit estimate before you generate. The cost depends on the model, duration, and resolution. Seedance 2.5 also counts reference video duration in its estimate.
